We investigate structured arrays and rings in elasticity to design elastic platonic circuits that utilise resonant phenomena. Creating ring resonators, understanding their coupling input output arrays, allows for the development of including add–drop filters (ADFs) coupled resonator (CREAs), hence we envisage integrated devices. Structured point-masses placed atop a thin plate lead highly confined quasi-modes leak energy; leakage being quantified by limiting quality factor Q . The conditions resonance are deduced using accurate numerical simulations based on Green’s function approach solve dispersion relation associated with resonators. sharp resonances emerge then used filter direct wave energy frequency, this is illustrated through analogy devices optics, e.g. photonic circuits. potential applications include delay lines passive harvesters. • Periodic structuration upon Kirchhoff–Love plate. Ring resonators exhibit whispering-Bloch resonances. Elastic exponentially large quality-factor. Coupled line manipulation flexural motion. Add/Drop Filter provides narrow-band filtering.
